"1 small/black" is built from used materials and uncovers overlooked beauty in the unwanted . Made with one and a half industrial cable drums comprising 3 wooden circles and thirty 9 scrap metal pipes. These scrap materials that were previously considered waste are transformed into a sculptural object that doubles as a reclining seat. The inherent qualities of the materials and original forms are retained, transformed into something new with just one cut.
