"1" is built from used materials and uncovers overlooked beauty in the unwanted . Made with 3 industrial cable drums comprising 6 wooden circles and thirty six scrap metal pipes. These scrap materials that were previously considered waste are transformed into a sculptural object that doubles as a reclining seat. The inherent qualities of the materials and original forms are retained, transformed into something new with just one cut.
